The Malaga Fair, 2010

One of the major trade fairs that are held in Spain every year in the month of August is the “Malaga Fair.” This year the fair will start on 13th of August and will go on till 22nd of August. The fair, which is expecting to attract more than 6 million people, will begin at the beaches of the Malagueta with an opening ceremony speech given by Javier Ojeda, a local singer and will be followed by the traditional firework display.

There will be more than 240 casetas or stands arranged at the fair grounds and all are free of charge. Parking services with nearly 12,500 spaces will be provided in the fairground area and also 18 buses will run to transfer the visitors to the fairground from the center, costing 1.5 Euros.
